July 2012 Blogger of The Month

Hi EVERYONE!

Blogger of the month for July goes to ‘Simone Heng’ of CHEAPnChic.net (http://cheapnchic.net/). She is one amazing role model. Her life consists of hosting a radio show on Virgin Radio Dubai, keeping up a blog, hosting many events in Dubai and being out and about around the town among many things. And lets not forget, she inspires many of us in Dubai via her blog.

The long awaited blog by Simone was launched on July 1^st 2012 and already has quite a fan following with 2000+ followers on facebook, myself included. This site will inspire you on topics of F0ashion, Décor and my favorite, D.I.Y’s. Oh Yes! And those enviable photos taken for the site. :)

Currently as the blog has just completed a month in running there aren't that many posts but this is one site with a promising future. You can sign up by email for updates and notifications. Don't forget to 'Like' via facebook and share.

Life Updates!

Hello everyone.. Apologies ‘AGAIN’ on being M.I.A. I am just about to finish a chapter of my life in a week’s time. My Bachelor’s degree!! Yipeee! Ok this has been a long journey. Come’on 4 years isn’t a joke. So, I am Happy and Thankful its ending on a glorious note. As they say, College is where you make friends for life and I am blessed to say ‘I Agree’. (:

As you may have noticed, I am doing a bit of experimenting on my blog design. (Let me know what you think ;). This is no easy task by the way. Changing the outlook of your blog is like choosing what color to paint your living room. Decision, decisions. What color scheme to choose, what vibe you want to give to your readers, etc., etc. Sorry to say that this may not be the final set in stone change because I love Experimenting!

To all the new bloggers out there (like myself), if you are not able to choose what kind of outlook you want or if you are not a tech friendly person, then I have the best solution for you! You must check out “The Cutest Blog on the Block (http://thecutestblogontheblock.com/)”. Guys, this is by far the best website I have come across. As you see, my blog design is from their free collection of Blog Backgrounds. Check it out and I would love to know what you think and if it has helped you out as much as it did for me.
